  11. John Sies has enjoyed drawing ever since he was old enough to rub crayons on the living room walls.  He 
  12. started college with the intention to study drafting, but was seduced by the dark side of the creative 
  13. medium and turned to advertising and commercial art instead. Among his clients are ad agencies, 
  14. newspapers, magazines, radio stations, game companies and even the Yellow Pages. Among his credits 
  15. are three ADDY Awards for advertising design.  Nowadays, he focuses his skills on graphic design, 
  16. particularly cartoons and humorous illustrations. He is currently the webmaster for Interactive Data 
  17. Technologies.

  19. John lives in Jacksonville, Illinois, along with his wife Mary, who makes sure he eats and sleeps regularly 
  20. and who keeps their sons, Jared and Chad, clear of the art room.
